- To calculate your Mobile Home Tax you’ll need to know:
a. Age/Year of the mobile home
b. Square footage (length x width) be sure to subtract 4’ off length for the hitch
- Find the year the mobile home was built on the left side of the table. Find the rate that corresponds with the year. Multiply this rate by the number of square feet in the mobile home to arrive at the taxes due.
- Example: 2012 mobile home; Size is 46’ (subtract 4’ for hitch) x 12’ = 42’ x 12’ = 504 square feet. Multiply the rate .15 by 504 square feet = $75.60
